Gather the project team to create a collective update on recent developments and current significant issues that are emerging in your field of work

DESCRIPTION

The Buzz Report helps with analysing the surroundings and staying up-to-date with new developments, which may or may not be directly related to the core subject of the project. It provides an insight and understanding of changing patterns and currently significant issues. Information can come from any possible source: documentaries, books, newspapers, lectures, any formal or informal source which notifies about what is new and interesting. The outcomes of this activity is an updated central repository with pertinent information. As a valuable source of information. An inspiration board can be created with this wealth of knowledge to cluster images of the findings.

TIPS

There are five main actions to for the Buzz Report:
1. Decide on how to collect and aggregate information and make it available to everyone in the team using different applications, e.g. Evernote, MS One Note, Trello, Google Keeps
2. Define sources of relevant information which can be visited on a regular basis.
3. Update the buzz report whenever possible and allocate time on a regular basis to conduct search and feed the buzz report.
4. Aggregate and categorize all input and tag with simple and meaningful keywords.
5. Discuss the most relevant topics with team members and share important thoughts about the impact on the project.
