Problem Definition Canvas

Re-frame the problem in a more specific and direct manner to better address it

Defining a problem is an important step to creating an effective and efficient solution, as what may have appeared at first the problem may just be the result of an underlying larger issue. This tool allows your team to understand what these underlying factors may be. This step is fundamental for re-framing the problem in a more specific and direct manner: a better defintion of the problem is a premise to better address it.

The tool can be filled in individually or in groups. Working on the task in groups is preferable as the objective of the activity is to approach the problem from different viewpoints in order to better understand and define the problem.
