Re-Make the City: A Maker Meet Up on Living Like Tomorrow

Each time a city erects a building, a shipload of materials is set into motion, travelling many kilometers to arrive at its destination and costly to recover and refine. The same is true about the goods we purchase – and discard.

How can we stop this spiral of building and buying, and how will this affect our lives in the future?

Join us at this Maker Meet Up on sustainable urban living and consumption where we will look into scenarios, solutions, trends and the necessity to change our existing ways.

We present a series of speakers that will share their ideas and insights on how cities will be organized in the future, how we live, own and consume. The event is part of the Re-Make the City program at Underbroen that presents further talks, debates, as well as workshops and exhibitions throughout the evening.

This maker meet up is moderated by Asger Nørregård Rasmussen from Copenhagen Maker Festival and UNDERBROEN.
